Protecting its population is one of NATO’s core missions. Thanks to multinational cooperation and partnerships with industry, NATO is constantly working on enhancing its key capabilities, such as the Alliance Ground Surveillance (AGS) system, Airborne Warning & Control System (AWACS) and Ballistic Missile Defence (BMD) system. In a world that faces multiple new threats, being able to collect data and share it quickly with decision-makers within the Alliance is key to assure protection of our population and make Alliance territory safer. In 2016, the Conference of National Armaments Directors (CNAD) celebrates its 50th anniversary. Its work to facilitate collaboration among Allies in capability development has continuously ensured the Alliance could have state-of-the-art capabilities readily available at all the times. ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ SUBSCRIBE to NATO YouTube http://bit.ly/NATOsubscribe Connect with NATO online: Visit the Official NATO Homepage: http://bit.ly/NATOhomepage Find NATO on FACEBOOK: http://bit.ly/NATOfacebook Follow @NATO on TWITTER: http://bit.ly/NATOtwitter Find NATO on Google+: http://bit.ly/NATOgoogleplus Find NATO on LinkedIn: http://bit.ly/NATOlinkedin Find NATO on Flickr: http://bit.ly/NATOflickr
