Three NATO Maritime Groups participated in NATO exercise Noble Mariner 2016. Noble Mariner was part of a larger UK Royal Navy exercise named Joint Warrior and served as a certification event for the NATO Response Force (NRF) Maritime component. Training included anti-submarine warfare, mine counter-measures, maritime security, live fire and close air support. Footage includes marines performing anti-landing drills with small arms fire, anti-submarine warfare drills, air defence drills.
