It commemorates the fallen and veterans of all NATO Allies. National detachments run in formation, passing a baton to the next nation. This year, funds raised will be donated to a military charity for children who have lost a parent serving with the Spanish Air Force. This shows solidarity among Allies and recognises the sacrifice made for a safe and secure Alliance. Participating countries include Albania, Belgium, Bulgaria, Canada, Croatia, France, Greece, Hungary, Italy, Portugal, Romania, Slovenia, Spain, Turkey, the United Kingdom and the United States.
