They took major decisions to strengthen the Alliance and to be ready to face any threats in the future. NATO Allies agreed to increase defence investment significantly, with a target of 5% of their Gross Domestic Product (GDP). This will ensure that our forces are ready and that we have the capabilities needed. They also decided to ramp up defence production, which means producing more and faster. And they reaffirmed their unwavering support to Ukraine to help the country defend itself today and to deter any aggression in the future.
